Our Story

• I bet my story is similar to yours. I'm an automotive enthusiast, just like you. It's been this way as long as I can remember. Don't believe me? Check out this essay I wrote in grade school which I named, "If I had a million dollars."

  
  
  

  And YES, I have owned all three of those vehicles!

• Another childhood dream of mine was to have a racing car bed. Remember those? Well, that dream didn't come true. But, I did get racing car wallpaper, bed sheets and every possible Hot Wheel I could find.

  
  

• My dad Alvin is partially to blame for all of this. From a young age, he was an automotive fanatic. As a young man he’d hang around George Barris’s shop in LA, and was also a partner in a sports car dealership until he was drafted. He also raced Morgan sports cars throughout CA back in the day, and even competed against Steve McQueen who drove a Porsche. That’s Alvin in his #13 Morgan Plus 4 roadster.

• Over the years, with my dad and brother, we've attended countless automotive related events, shows, races, you name it. We've bought, sold, driven, restored and collected too many vehicles to count. We've also participated in many car auctions as both buyer and seller, sometimes in person, and other times online. Too often the online experience was frustrating. Can you relate? That’s why we created Ready Auction. We saw a need to do things differently.
